CSE maintains offices in Columbia (SC) and Morehead City (NC). We have corporate and individual registrations (engineering and geology) in both states as well as individual registrations in Florida. Since our founding, we have developed in-house capabilities in the important tools of our profession so that we can offer comprehensive coastal engineering services from research to field data collection, analysis, and design.
Our resources are geared toward solving clients' problems as efficiently as possible. When you bring a site problem to us, we organize our work around these logical questions:
What is already known about the site and the problem?
CSE Library
What additional field data are needed?
Field Services
What analysis tools are applicable and necessary to design a solution?
Analytical Tools
What are the regulatory constraints on the project?
Permitting
What is required to get a properly constructed project?
Construction Observation
Did the project improve the quality of life and advance the state of the art?
Project Monitoring
Not all projects require answers to every one of these questions, but we have the necessary resources close at hand if needed to support our work. This translates to savings in time and money for our services.
As trite as it sounds, our people are CSE's most important resource - after all, we are a service business. Most of our business is with repeat clients who serve as the best testimonial to CSE's quality of service.
When we work on your problem, it is the most important thing we do. As an employee-owned company, our staff is empowered to make decisions - whether to collect additional field data at our own expense to improve later analyses, or to advance the profession, or to make our technical reports more colorful and user friendly. We enjoy what we do and will bring pride to your project.
